What a great weekend we had! Friday night was super low key. We picked the girls up and played around outside for a little while.
Tae and I made dinner and then early to bed for everyone! Saturday morning we were up at 5:30 and all of us were dressed and out the door by 7am. Where were we going you ask? To the Farmers Market! It was awesome (minus trying to maneuver a stroller around 500 million people). We got everything, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, garlic, potatoes, pineapple, berries, meat, you name it, we got it. We also met up with our good friend Nikki that we hadn't seen in a few weeks so it was great to get to wander around with her. After that we headed to the playground. We had some time to kill and nothing to do so we found this nice little playground and knew
Tae would have a blast, and she did. Jo wasn't impressed except for when we put her in the baby swing! We stayed for about an hour but that was enough to knock both of them out for a nice afternoon nap!

See Jo's third tooth? Top right incisor (on the left in the pic).... Soon she will be our vampire baby unless her front 2 teeth come in!

Then it was time to cook dinner. We had decided that we were going to make dinner with only ingredients we purchased at the Farmer's Market! We had picked out a delicious strip sirloin and Frank threw it on the grill while I made a salad and pasta.
Tae and I made our own dressing for the salad (olive oil, white vinegar, red wine vinegar, lemon juice and spices) and named it
Taelyn's Dressing! There was a pasta vendor at the Farmer's Market, hand made 3 foot long pasta! We chose a Tomato, Basil, Garlic and Bacon pasta and I made a Alfredo sauce from scratch and added in fresh tomatoes and
sundried tomatoes and it turned out amazing. We put the sauce on both the pasta and the steak, Y.U.M.M.Y! And then for dessert? Fresh strawberries and raspberries with cool whip and chocolate sauce. Delicious! The berries were so ripe, they reminded me of when I used to pick raspberries from my
Grandpa's garden. We ate well that day my friends and this is one happy customer:
We continued our usual Sunday morning routine and we each picked out tea for breakfast. Frank and I had a Darjeeling and Tae chose Strawberry. Breakfast was bacon and sticky buns from the market.

Frank had to go help a friend move on Sunday so it was just us girls and Tae requested another trip to the playground. We packed a picnic lunch and headed over to a nearby school to try out a different playground. We were the only ones there which was very nice. It had a jumping bridge and tether ball and we had a blast!

After that we took a trip to Home Depot for some planters and potting soil and then to Joann Fabric so we could pick out fabric and ribbon for my next craft project (pictures when I am done!) The weekend ended with some snuggles and a good nights sleep...
