We have been quiet the past few days, but rest assured that it was not for lack of excitement or activities, it was exactly the opposite. We have been preparing for this weekend and our big Father's Day get together! We repainted our upstairs hallway (we still have a few things to fix and then I will post pictures), cleaned and organized the basement in preparation for the animals to camp down there on Sunday, scrubbed the garage, power washed the front of the house, did some gardening and maybe slept for a few minutes in there. We decided to take tomorrow off of work to finish up preparation for Sunday because Saturday my sister, Anna, is graduating high school! This September she will be going to college not 5 minutes down the road from me (same place I went!) and about 20 minutes from Cassy, another one of my sisters. So now Britta (my last sister), it's all up to you to make your move to our city so all the girls will be together! So I will be going home for the day, meaning most of the work needs to be done before Saturday.
Then Sunday is our big day. We are counting between 22 and 26 guests! Mostly my family but also Eric and Nikki :o) We have been looking forward to this for months and consider it preparation for our second big shindig this summer, "The Big Birthday Bash 1.0" in August for Adam, me, Jo (her first!), Mandy (Frank's sister) and Tae!
And because we can't have a post without including 2 of the cutest faces in the world...
